Halloween 2013!!!

Check out the latest addition to my Halloween Wreath Collection.

I picked up this plastic mask a month or so ago but wasn't quite sure what I was going to make when I bought it. I saw I had quite a bit of black deco mesh and figured the mask would really stand out against the black. I also wanted to do something with the eyes so I added a piece of lime green deco mesh to the mask. I believe it really makes it stand out.

The wreath was made on a 12" wire wreath form. I used 2 layers of black deco mesh to make sure that it was nice and full to give it the effect that I wanted. I used lime green tinsel roping to secure the deco mesh.

The completed wreath measures about 18" wide and 8" deep. The skull mask is 7.5" X 6".

Once it was complete, I realized that with the right harness this could actually be worn as one huge mask as well as a great door decoration.
