Girl's hat, knitted girl's hat, soft, warm, blue beanie, cute, butterfly This hat is another girly version, hand knitted from the same yarn as the aviator hat. The yarn is Rowan Soft Baby - a light, comfortable yarn in a shade of bluebell. This is the hat for the child who isn't keen to wear one! The yarn is a washable cotton, wool and acrylic mix. I knitted the hat in stocking stitch with a twisted rib brim and I decorated it with a cute little knitted butterfly. These pictures were taken on an adult head form - so the hat looks a little stretched.
