Warm and toasty - perfect for the upcoming winter weather!Upcycled from a felted fair isle jumper, and trimmed with crochet in a contrasting red wool, this hat is not just warm and toasty, it's good looking and unusual as well - very rustic! Perfect for the pre-Christmas feast stroll!
Suitable for heads of most sizes, with the exception of the very smallest and the very largest, this hat would be ideally suited to a boy aged between 4 and 10, but could just as easily fit a girl, or a woman (or man) with a smallish head. Being felted, there's only so much stretch to it, but there's a little bit!
My model loved wearing this - it kept his head warm and didn't pop off like some wooly hats do!
Even though this has already been felted and shrunk, there's always the possibility that it could become even smaller! So (unless you actually WANT to shrink it further...), please cool handwash only!
