Introducing my new Peridot inspired suncatcher. Peridot, also known as the evening emerald, is traditionally the birthstone for August and is said to stand for influence, power, truth, love, loyalty, faithfullness, fame, protection and dignity. Peridot is believed to bring about growth, prosperity and openness.Suitable as a birthday gift for a friend or loved one and reasonably priced, this would also make a fantastic pocket money gift from a child to a parent or relative.
Individually handcrafted using traditional methods each piece of glass is hand cut and wrapped in copper foil. Each of the silver coloured mounts is also handcrafted, mounted on the glass and the pieces joined with a beaded wired. A 15cm hanging chain with a hanging ring completes the piece which means you can display it as soon as you recieve it.
