Product Description:

I make things every day and have done for most of my life. I am always on the look out for ideas and inspiration and collect all sorts of fabric, buttons and other bits and bobs that I include in the things that I make. Patchwork has been very important to me, and left to my own devices I do work on a very small scale.

These floral brooches are made with Irish linen which I have painted and then hand embroidered. It is embellished using beads, buttons, and sequins. The outer edge is woven using sock wool and the back is felt. I added a little lavender from my garden to the stuffing inside.
