Felt Tote Bag Unique Fun Fuchsia Cerise Pink BlackI hand knitted this useful, good sized tote bag from 100% wool in an attractive colour somewhere between fuchsia pink and bordeaux wine. I gave the bag a strong black base and added some decorative stripes in a discreet, textured ladder yarn. It is finished with a black rim and strong black handles.
The bag was then felted to produce a soft but hardwearing fabric - not quite as thick as the Blue Moon version.
This construction has a minimum of stitching up - so no weak areas around the seams.
This one measures 13 inches top to bottom when laid flat and 14.5 inches across at its widest point (just above the base) The handles measure approx. 29 inches inches each. They are designed to be slung comfortably over the shoulder.
