Chunky warm leg warmers wool mix rich bluesA pair of REALLY warm wool legwarmers in rich glowing shades of cherry red and purple. The yarn is Sirdar Escape chunky, which is a mix of 50% wool and 49% acrylic. These leg warmers are perfect for those of you battling with snowy conditions - but they are also quite a trendy fashion statement.
The legwarmers were knitted in the round, so no annoying seams. They measure approx.19 inches long and approx. 10 inches circumference just below the main ribbed section - but they can be stretchy or worn slouchy as you prefer. The main part is in stocking stitch (stockinette) to show off the rather special colours and the ends are ribbed.
The last two pictures show the same design of legwarmer in a different colourway to give you an idea of what they look like on. My model is temporarily unavailable!
