Product Description:
A stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.A butterfly made from iridised turquoise glass, ripple textured, turquoise being the UK birthstone colour for December. The other sections of the butterfly are iridised textured clear glass to give it extra shimmer.
I've made the little turquoise coloured head in my hotpot kiln and added tiny dichroic chips for eyes.
I'm really pleased with this new 2014 design of butterfly and also with the idea of making one for each month / birthstone.
