Baby hat mittens set, first size, boy, girl, knit, hand dyed blue grey by Spinningstreak This set consists of a first size newborn baby hat and little mittens. They are hand knitted in an 85% wool and 15% nylon mix sock yarn that I dyed in unusual unisex colours - silver grey. over dyed with charcoal and several shades of blue. The hat measures 4.5 inches top to bottom and 10 inches circumference at the brim. It stretches for a snug fit. It is knitted in the round in stocking stitch - so no scratchy seams. It has a stretchy ribbed edge. (It would look much cuter on a baby than on my brandy glass!) The little mitts measure 4.5 inches in length and the ribbing helps keep them in place. They are made without thumbs, so are very easy to put on.
