Product Description:

I have used a vintage image for the front cover of this journal. On the back cover I have appliquéd some vintage embroidery. I have used natural linen fabric as the base layer for this journal. I then selected and cut out a range of fabrics that included vintage lace, various scraps of silk, brocade, printed organza and more linen.
After all the stitching had been completed, I then hand stitched five mother of pearl buttons, two vintage buttons, three guipure lace flower, some cream pearl beads, and embroidered three lazy daisies. I also stitched some cream crochet lace trim.
