Product Description:
Robot bride and groom wedding cake topper and science fiction sculpture made from wood. Read below for all the details...This topper is part of my "Matrimonial" Retro Tech line of fun and detailed, often realistic machinery and the like made mostly, often solely out of the most unlikely of materials for this sort of geekery item ... good, old fashioned Earth wood! They all have both a neat look and feel, sort of like an old world toy. Made almost 100% from wood (I sometimes use tiny, tiny amounts of other things) I then use paint and many finishes, often metallic, and make sure a lot of details shine through, often even the wood grain itself despite the high tech themes. They maintain an often retro, sometimes even rustic look.
This is a version of my Secret Agent Topper Groom with his bride, in this case customized so he is "undercover" as a welder or the like, complete with flipped up face mask and blow torch, gas hose steaming around his feet (he now even has a round head!). The bride, to help "blend" has done away with a bouquet of flowers and is holding a whisk since she is now a baker! She also has a little purple stripe sash around her waist.
You can have this exact item or do a little customizing of equal time and effort on my part (to be determined between us by email), making them be something else, hold something else, etc!
As for the rest of this couple, as shown:
He is a sophisticated groom, being a galactic class spy agent and all, decked out in the latest tuxedo formalwear complete with lapels, the tux and hat in dark bronze (the robot version of black) with silver white shirt and gold bow tie, button, etc... he's holding hands with his lovely bride in short, silver white gown and matching shoes, a touch of gold in her "hair" to match him and a red pink heart button where it belongs. She finally got him to say yes! The base is round, finished in a faux steal look...
This creation is about 4" in diameter at the base, the groom figure himself is around 6" high for him (he is a bit taller and has that top hat) (remember, 2 1/2 centimeters to an inch). These are indeed light enough for pretty much any cake!
