Product Description:
A matt black wooden tea caddy box with a pewter embossed design of two scrolls on either side of the word Tea on the lid. Both the back and front have 3 tea cups in high relief, each with its own scrolled design.This bespoke 3 division 6mm MDF box is manufactured exclusively for my shop. It is coated with a black matt hardwearing paint which washes very well.
The lid swivels on 2 concealed pins so that it lies flush with the back, front and sides.
The finish has a smooth feel to it rather than textured.
The pewter is lead-free and safe for any use.
The embossing is done by hand using only hand tools. The back of the embossed design is filled to prevent denting. It is then aged using a patina and finally polished to the antique silver-looking antique finish
