Red and Blue Reversible Apron Made From Vintage Feedsack Fabric

Shared by summersplace in the General Crafts

Product Description:

One side of this apron is made from vibrant red and blue vintage feedsack fabric. A loop made from vintage red rick rack is sewn into the waistband to hold a dishtowel close at hand. A dishtowel is included with this purchase.

The reverse side is made from a tiny blue and white calico print that is new.

The apron skirt has a scalloped edge. The entire skirt is edged with red vintage rick rack (the same that the loop is made from) and is visible on both sides.

The ties are a generous length so this apron will fit all sizes.

I picked up the red vintage rick rack at the Waterbury, Vermont, Saturday Flea market.

These reversible aprons do double duty. In the kitchen, wear the "new" side to catch spills and splashes, then flip the apron around to serve your lovingly prepared meal.
