This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It depicts a splash of bright red poppies, in front of field of golden wheat, a green meadow, green hills and then mountains, one snow-capped, against a blue sky.
.
This is a fusion - it combines stained glass with fused glass - the poppy field is a piece of fused glass which I made in my kiln then I designed the rest of the picture around it.
I've framed the picture in clear glass with a delicate texture for good effect and then with a strengthening border of twisted wire.
This looks lovely when it hangs in the light of a window but can equally be used as a picture against a plain wall..
