Whimsical Toadstool Home * Light up JarI started this Darling OOAK Toadstool with a Baby food Jar. I then added polymer clay to create this adorable little Wee Folk Home. I used a Brad for the doorknob and also accented the door it with 2 Green Sparkling Flatback Swarovski Crystals. I added slices from one of my flower canes to the tops of green stems. A cute little mouse sits just below one of the windows waiting to welcome a Fairy, Gnome, Elf, Pixie, Leprechaun, Hobbit etc. to this lovely little home.
The mushroom cap is accented with acrylic white paint and the underside with light brown. I also used white paint to accent the shutters on the windows. Once the paint dried I added a coat of glaze to seal the paint as well as adding shine and durability to the entire home.
From top to bottom this enchanting toadstool measures approx. 5â€.
