A part from a romantic collection inspired by nature, by going out and looking at the trees admire their beauty and try to put an imprint with brushes on a slice of wood.The slice of wood is apple and it is hand cut, hand sanded from a branch. The branch came out of our annual pruning of the trees in our garden.
The tree is hand-painted directly on the wood and it is my impression of a tree in late autumn.. As I see it with my heart's eyes. The slice of wood is approximately 1.7mm in diameter and it is lacquered with acrylic varnish. I used an antique bronze ring setting which is environmental friendly and recyclable. It's also free from nickel and lead.
