Lilac and Purple Up-cycled Button and Glass Bead Earrings with Black Findings

These earrings have been made using vintage small lilac buttons, large purple/lilac buttons and new dark purple glass lampwork beads and black findings and earhooks.

These earrings are completely unique, a one-off item as they are made using vintage buttons, combined with new beads and findings, so very special to the wearer! All the buttons were found in a bag of old buttons from my Aunt, most of them were her Mum's! The small ones were still on a card! The beads are beautiful dark purple lampwork beads, with some silver foil visible when you look really closely!

I love recycling and upcycling and my inspiration comes from finding creative uses for old, broken and unwanted jewellery and other items. Old buttons are so great to use and there's nothing better than rummaging through a box or bag of old buttons!!
