Product Description:

Made in a pet- and smoke-free studio from an assortment of fabrics and embellished with acrylic paint, embroidery floss, and seed beads. The jellyfish body is in three layers: first, tissue lame; second, a cotton print with circles stamped on in acrylic paint with the eraser end of a pencil; on top, turquoise vinyl that extends out into the tentacles. The pale turquoise ground is repurposed from my bedroom curtains. The main body is padded out from the back with batting. Hand- and machine-stitched, bound with a cotton print.
