This red knit beret is knitted with a soft pure wool yarn. The wool slouchy is a medium thickness, (not heavy) very stretchy, will fit any head, will stretch out to 31 inches around. The measurements are laying flat on a table. Across the brim or ribbing = 8 1/2 inches, across the widest part 11 1/2 inches laying flat. The length top to bottom 11 1/2 inches.
