Here is a new twist on eggs and gourds. Did you know that many farmers grow egg gourds? These gourds are exactly the same size as an egg, only much stronger and perfect for crafts. It seems that almost every gourd I touch has to be transformed into a cat. For these gourd kitties I first sculpt ears and a tail, then use a leather paint/ acrylic to design, and finally add a varnish. Each of these little guys have eye screws and cord to hang! Great conversation piece and great gift for the cat lover in your life.
