Hand dyed merino yarn 100g dk ivory cream sage green coral pink The base yarn for this is a high grade pure merino. The yarn is beautifully soft and squishy. It is a double knitting yarn, recommended needle size 4mm (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge). This one is rather subtle. I dyed it first with the palest of yellow to produce a creamy ivory base. I then hand painted it with a strong sage green and coral pink - and I am pleased with the results!
