I have crocheted this snood to my own pattern in a very fine navy yarn. Every few rows, I have introduced a subtle silver line to give it just a touch of gentle sparkle.One of the edges has a pretty shell pattern which frames the face when you wear it as a hood.It measures 22inches across (44 inches around) by 12 inches deep. Wear this snood that I have crocheted in several different ways. It can be worn loosely around the neck as a scarf, or it can be doubled up around the neck to make a very cosy and warm neckwarmer. You an also wear it lifted up around your head to make a pretty hood. It is light and airy but very warm.
Wash it by hand in cool water and reshape it while it is damp.
