Emmeline is a new arrival at the Junky Chicken Rescue Centre and she is a lovely little chicken. Her favourite time of year is summertime so at the moment she is always in a good mood, happily lying about sunbathing. Her favourite things are picnics and cream cakes and her least favourite things are snow and scary stories!
Emmeline has been made from a piece of red and white gingham fabric that was donated to me by my dressmaking Mum. Her beak and comb are cut from Eco-spun felt which is made from recycled plastic bottles and she is filled with pearl barley that was grown in the UK. She measures approx 21 x 14 x 9cm.
Due to the fact that all my chickens are made from recycled materials, I usually only have small amounts of each fabric. So if you like a chicken in a certain fabric then there is always a chance that it is the last one of its kind!
Emmeline is looking forward to finding a good loving home to adopt her.
