Product Description:

This is a hand carved wooden spoon out of pecan wood from my farm here in central Florida. It has a hefty 17" long handle making it functional in even your larger pots. I hand sanded it and finished it with a quality food safe finish. I am a 5th generation wood worker but the first female in the lineage. I couldn't find the quality of cooking utensils that I wanted and since my husband loves to cook outside in large pots (he makes the best chicken pileau!), I started making the utensils that we needed. It has since become an obsession and full time job. I also love to make reproductions of antique spoons for family members that want to share their favorite spoon.
