Child's hat, knit beanie, picot edge, Spring hat, light warm alpaca, bright, child or small size This hat is hand knitted from a bright pure alpaca yarn - very light but warm, perfect for Spring and Autumn. It is designed as a classic beanie, with a picot edge. I used a combination of stocking stitch with bands worked in a version of blackberry stitch. The colours are unusual - a bright coloured hat, strong pinks and turquoise with a touch of lime green. Would be perfect for a trendy young person. The hat is shown here on an adult head form, so looks a little stretched. Size small - child, or snug fit.
