Kumihimo is the Japanese art of braiding.

This bracelet is made using a kumihimo braid knotted in a chain sinnet, also known as a monkey braid. It is created using purple and blue cotton thread, braided into a spiral pattern. The bracelet is finished with a toggle clasp, and the chain sinnet is glued on the ends so it cannot be pulled apart. Measures approximately 7 inches.
