Wisdom~The owl has long been associated with wisdom and prosperity. In Hindu mythology, the owl is thought to be the vehicle of the Goddess Lakshmi - the Goddess of Wealth; therefore it is considered good luck to have an owl residing near ones home.
This 21" necklace was lovingly crafted from cream colored glass beads, and two shades of brown wooden beads. The 2" silver pendant which hangs in the center features an epoxy image of a beautiful, wise owl. As stated above, the owl is thought to be a symbol of wisdom, wealth, and prosperity. Lobster-claw clasp makes this piece very easy to put on and take off.
