Product Description:

This is the oldest game known. It has been called many names. Game boards have been found in ancient Egyptian tombs and carved into ancient ruins. It is spoken of in Shakespeare. This game is the predecessor of chess and is equally challenging in strategy and anticipation of an opponent's moves. The game is played by two players.

The game board has been created in my workshop from renewable, poplar wood. The game board is finished (top and bottom) in a protective, crystal clear, acrylic varnish. The playing pieces are miniature, solid glass globes.

You get a solid wood game board that measures over 7" square and 3/4" thick, 18 playing pieces, laminated instructions, a muslin bag for the game, and a small muslin bag for the playing pieces. (Color of the playing pieces may vary from those shown in the photograph)

The game requires an understanding of strategy and logic. THIS IS NOT A GAME FOR CHILDREN. THIS IS A GAME FOR ADULTS AND TEENS.

This game is perfect for Society For Creative Anachronism reenactors. This is a game of history.
