Rosewood is a distinct light brown color wood with very fine lines running through like the veins in a rose petal. The hardware components on this pen are 24K Gold-plate. The clip has a stripe of baked on black enamel. There are three fine lines encised into the top of the lower barrel for character. The pen has been polished to a fine furniture finish.

The pen uses a CROSS-style refill easily found in all office stores and stationary departments. The pen tip advances and retracts by twisting the barrel cap.

No two of my pens are ever the same. Even when the same wood and fittings are used, each piece of wood has a distinct grain pattern and each pen comes off the lathe shaped like no other. You are getting a truly unique pen.
