Product Description:

Here is another one of my unique wedding cake toppers, as always one of my own designs made out of wood! Whether you need something up to the challege of crowning that ultra lux custom cake or maybe dress up a fairly plain one, consider these hand made one at a time toppers.

These two ARE as cute as bugs in a rug (whatever that means)! Very loving, they are the definition of love bugs. Both are winged insects of the same species in glorious metallic green and gold. The groom is dashing in a matching tuxedo with classic formal bow tie and shirt both in silver white on white. He is sweetly drawing his new bride close to him with his arm around her.

She is dressed in a frisky but classis number with décolletage at a sweetheart neckline and gown in bright silver white. The bride is also sporting a small gold grown on the top of her head and is carrying a single large blossumed flower. With smiles at the ready, they wait in a classic pose ready for photos...

The base is heart shaped finished in a bright silver which goes well with white or any color.

This creation has a base that's about 4" in diameter while the bride and groom figures themselves range from about 5" 1/2" high for him IF you include his antenna and about just over 4" high for her WITHOUT antenna (to give you an idea of the sizes better) ... with base it's about 6" in total height at it's maximum (remember, 2 1/2 centimeters to an inch). These are indeed light enough for pretty much any cake!

While this would make a fine cake top it would also be nice as a centerpiece or display table decoration and then of course a nice keepsake for the couple. Great gift! Consider it also for an anniversary party or, table top statue of an unusual bent for any collector...

As always I can customize this and most of my items with a special order. I also design them from scratch ... just email me to discuss it!

Made almost 100% from wood unless stated otherwise (I sometimes use tiny amounts of other things) I use paint and many finishes, often metallic, and make sure a lot of details shine through, often even the wood grain itself despite high tech themes. They maintain an often retro, sometimes even rustic look and feel to them, like an "olde worlde" toy or something (some more so than others ... I am told that surprisingly many do not even look like they are wood, but like metal or some manmade material... you can usually tell by the photos).
