Product Description:

This OOAK, handmade art sculpture is inspired by the symbol Yin and Yang. To me this symbol expresses the need to find a spiritual balance in our souls.

One large piece of pine wood was cut for this project. The circle measures approximately 18cm in diameter and the tallest point is approximately 12.5cm. One of them is painted black and the other is plain. I decided to leave it without lacquering it to make the whole piece natural. On one side a large tree is secured that is made of white copper wire and on the other side a black tree is secured which is made of black copper wire. Each tree has 100 pieces of wire all twisted by hand. The whole piece took more than 10 hours to complete.
The wood comes from a near by forest near where I live. It was cut and painted in my home with outmost respect to the nature that surrounds us.
